SGR, a major downstream oil and gas player and licensed marketer for Dangote Petroleum Refinery, has opened two additional fuel stations along the Shagamu-Ore expressway, just days after launching an earlier set of two.

This brings the total to four new fuelling stations established in the past two weeks—a clear statement of the company’s commitment to scaling access to reliable and priced fuel along key Nigerian transit routes.

The newly unveiled stations were officially opened this week in a small ceremony attended by the General Manager, Samuel Oyakanmi, and the company’s two Branch Managers, Oladele Giwa and Musa Owolabi.

Speaking on the opening of the new stations, Oyekanmi said: “These new stations are an extension of our promise to be where Nigerians need us most. Shagamu-Ore is a vital route, and we’re making sure people have access to quality fuel, seamless service, and transparent pricing.”

The new SGR stations are retailing fuel at ₦878 per litre, in line with recent adjustments in the industry. The company has continued to emphasise that this pump price reflects the true realities of the deregulated market, a position it reiterated in recent news.
