Ahead of the 2026 governorship election in Florida, the US President, Donald Trump on Thursday publicly declared his support for Republican Rep. Byron Donalds.
Although Donalds is yet to announce his interest in the race, Trump took to his page on Truth Social on Thursday to support the lawmaker.
According to Trump, as “governor, Byron would have a BIG Voice and would work closely with me to advance our America First Agenda.”
The US President stated that he has seen Donalds “tested at the highest most difficult levels, and he is a total winner”!
“Byron Donalds would be a truly Great and Powerful Governor for Florida and, should he decide to run, will have my Complete and Total Endorsement”, Trump added in his post.
ABC news reports that while no major candidate has formally declared their intention to run for governor in 2026, both Donalds and current First Lady of Florida, Casey DeSantis have been viewed as potential frontrunners.

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the promotion of 38 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP) to the next rank of Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP).
The Commission also elevated 100 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) to Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP).
The Commission took the decision Thursday at the continuation of its extraordinary Plenary Meeting holding at its Corporate Headquarters in Jabi Abuja and presided over by Its Chairman, DIG. Hashimu Argungu rtd.
The meeting was also attended by Justice Adamu Paul Galmuje, retired Justice of the Supreme Court and Commissioner representing the Judiciary; DIG Taiwo Lakanu rtd, Commissioner representing the Police and Chief Onyemuchi Nnamani Secretary to the Commission.

Nigeria has officially been designated as Africa's Digital Trade Champion, a role that could help create over 10 million new jobs across the continent by the end of 2025.
To this effect, Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to leading Africa’s digital trade agenda under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The Vice President, who was represented by the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, stated this on Wednesday during the AfCFTA Digital Trade Workshop and Global Market at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The workshop, which brought together officials from the federal and state governments, including Commissioners of Trades and Industry and private sector experts, has the theme: “Unlocking State Exports Potential.”
According to VP Shettima, Nigeria’s progress in digital commerce, services, and innovation, has positioned the country as the continent’s digital trade hub.
"Our innovations in mobile payments have transformed cross-border payments, financial inclusion, and digital transactions across the continent," he stated.
Nigeria’s appointment as Africa's Digital Trade Champion followed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's December 2024 pledge in Cape Town to champion the digital trade agenda for all Africans.
This leadership role was formally recognised at the 38th African Union Heads of State Summit, where President Tinubu received a commendation from former Niger President Mahamadou Issoufou, the AfCFTA Champion.
Speaking at the two-day workshop, the Vice President also announced that Nigeria's Ambassador to the World Trade Organization, Dr. Adamu Mohammed Abdulhamid, has been appointed chairperson of the Committee of Trade and Services Special Session, effective this month.
“The AfCFTA Digital Trade Protocol aims to increase intra-African trade from 18% in 2022 to 50% by 2030. With over 109 million internet users and a thriving mobile economy, Nigeria has the foundation to lead Africa's digital commerce evolution,” Shettima noted.
The Internet economy is projected to contribute 5.2% of Africa's GDP this year, with the continent's digital economy expected to reach $180 billion, up from $115 billion in 2020.
“Initiatives such as the Federal Ministry of Investment's National Talent Export Programme, launched by the President in September 2023, the Outsource to Nigeria Initiative backed by the Office of the Vice President, and the 3 Million Technology Talents Programme of the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy are leading this growth and opening up opportunities for access to high-quality Nigerian talent at a global scale,” VP Shettima said.
He further noted that Nigeria has modernised its passport application system and invested in port infrastructure to streamline trade procedures, reducing customs processing times and enhancing the country's ability to handle a major share of West Africa's cargo.
"Let us move rapidly from the text of the protocol to the actuality of a digitally enabled trade as a catalyst for prosperity for all,” he added.
Also speaking, the Minister of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande, described the workshop as a welcome development, recalling that last year, President Tinubu had approved the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund to empower Nigeria's young entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Noting that the significant approval of the Youth Investment Fund will be dedicated to supporting young Nigerians, the Minister noted that the Tinubu administration "is producing capital businesses for the young entrepreneurs engaging in agriculture, manufacturing, textile, creative industry, digital services and other export items so that they can meet the international trade standard.
"I also believe that this platform and strategic partnerships will help the youths to own their businesses to connect with the international digital trade and make Nigeria productive and globally competitive," he added.
On his part, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, said a nation that fails to embrace digital trade will certainly be left behind, just as he applauded the Tinubu administration for making significant strides in the ICT sector.
The Governor, who was represented by his deputy, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, said, "Digital trade platforms have eliminated traditional trade barriers, allowing businesses, both big and small, to participate in regional and global markets like never before. Today, we are reminded of the immense potential that lies within the African Continental Free Trade Area in a world increasingly defined by interconnectivity.
"We must seize this moment, not merely as a challenge, but as a powerful catalyst for growth and development. Digital transformation stands today as the cornerstone of innovation and sustainable growth. With 65% of our population under the age of 25, Nigeria possesses the demographic advantage to become a global digital powerhouse.“
On her part, the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musawa, commended the Vice President for championing digital trade innovations, saying while Nigeria has the tools to unlock its potential in the sector, AfCFTA is an opportunity to leverage the nation's strength, especially in the creative industry.
"As the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, I believe that the creative and culture industries are not just mere expressions but are real powerful drivers of the economy. Our ministry is committed to positioning Nigeria's creative sector as a cornerstone of export through growth under the free trade area.
"Through the Creative Economy Development Fund that was recently approved, we are pioneering a new frontier, enabling creators to transform their intellectual property into bankable assets, and I think this is a very important and formidable initiative," the minister stated.
Also speaking, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, outlined the agency's commitment to digital trade facilitation at the workshop.
He emphasised the central role of export promotion in Nigeria's current economic strategy.
"Customs has established a dedicated export command in Lagos, and they actively participated in AfCFTA's guided trade initiatives. We have deployed advanced digital solutions, including a new platform christened B'Odogwu, intended to improve transparency and efficiency by connecting all stakeholders on a unified system," he said.
On her part, Director General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, presented data on how digital identity systems will transform Nigeria's trade landscape.
"This shift to digital trade presents an enormous opportunity for Nigeria to diversify its economy and leverage non-oil assets," Coker-Odusote stated, projecting substantial growth in business registrations through digital channels in the coming years.
In his welcome remarks, Special Assistant to the President on ICT Policy, Dr Salihu Dasuki Nakande, said, "AU's endorsement of Nigeria as the AfCFTA Digital Trade Champion is a testament to our country's strategic role in shaping the future of digital commerce across the continent.
"With this endorsement, Nigeria is not just a participant—we are leading the charge in designing the frameworks, policies, and innovations that will drive Africa's digital economy forward."
Also, Special Assistant to the President on Export Promotion, Aliyu Bunu Sheriff, said, "In 2024, Nigeria's non-oil exports exceeded $5.4 billion, yet this is only a fraction of our true potential. To sustain economic growth, stabilise the naira, and create jobs, we must transition from a predominantly consumption-driven economy to one centred on production and value addition.
"The European Union imports over $120 billion worth of fruits and vegetables annually. If Plateau State, which is rich in fruits and vegetables, captures just 2-5% of this, that translates to $2.4 billion to $6 billion in exports."
Principal Research Fellow at Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Max Mendez-Parra, said, "The AfCFTA Protocol on Digital Trade certainly has the potential to advance digitally-driven industrialisation in Africa by fostering a conducive environment for digital commerce and innovation.
"To fully harness the benefits of the AfCFTA DTP and realise the opportunities it offers, Nigeria's public and private sectors need a robust implementation strategy that would also improve domestic regulations and unlock growth in GDP, employment and digital trade.”
Also, Country Director for the British High Commission's Department for Business and Trade in Nigeria, Mark Smithson, said, "AfCFTA is the African Union's most ambitious regional economic channel. The AfCFTA holds the potential to be a game changer for Nigeria's inclusive economic change, driving industrial growth, generating jobs and delivering inclusive prosperity across the continent as well as in Nigeria."

... Donates N8bn to Presidential Library, Pledges N2bn Annually Until Completion
The President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has praised former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, popularly known as IBB, for implementing policies that liberated the private sector in Nigeria during his regime.
Dangote made this statement on Thursday during the unveiling of the book “A Journey in Service”, the autobiography of the former Head of State. The event also served as a fundraiser for the IBB Presidential Library.
Africa’s wealthiest man donated N8 billion to the IBB Presidential Library, to be paid at N2 billion annually over the four years allocated for the project’s completion. He further pledged that if the project extends beyond this timeframe, he would continue to donate N2 billion annually until it is finished.
Dangote, who is the largest employer of labour after the government, commended Babangida for his transformative policies that encouraged Nigerian investors to play prominent roles in the economy. He particularly highlighted the abolition of import licences, which helped stimulate domestic industries. These reforms, among others, ensured that Nigeria now has more private-sector involvement than any other country in Africa. This shift, he said, led to a contribution of 85% of the country’s GDP from the private sector, while the government contributes just 15%.
“Your Excellency, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all you have done for Nigeria. Many may not realise that you were the architect of the private sector in Nigeria. Anyone in the private sector who has achieved prominence today owes it to you, as you provided us with the necessary licences. In the past, we used to struggle to obtain licences through intermediaries, including Indians,” he said.
Dangote recalled how Babangida’s policies facilitated the growth of Nigerian businesses, enabling them to thrive. “Your Excellency, in 1986, you abolished the requirements for import licences, and it was because of that decision that we were able to reach the highest levels of growth. I recall a day when you granted almost 30 of us banking licences. You also instructed five Nigerians to pay N1 million each for oil blocs.
“Your Excellency, I could continue to list all the reforms you introduced that liberated the private sector, which is why Nigeria has more private sector involvement than any other country in Africa. It is only in Nigeria where government contribution to GDP is a mere 15%, with the remainder being driven by the private sector,” he added while expressing hope that future Nigerian leaders will adopt similar policies for the betterment of the country. “I want to thank you once again, and I am confident that future leaders will continue to follow your example, working closely with the private sector.”
On his contribution to the IBB Presidential Library project, Dangote said, “Your Excellency, based on what I have observed, I believe this project will require at least four years to complete. I would like to contribute N2 billion each year for the next four years, amounting to N8 billion in total. Should the project extend beyond four years, I will continue to contribute N2 billion annually.”
Other prominent Nigerians also pledged contributions to the library’s construction. The Chief Launcher and Founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, donated N5 billion, while the co-Chief Launcher and Founder of the TY Danjuma Foundation, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, donated N3 billion.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who chaired the event, remarked that by writing his memoir, Babangida had not only contributed to making history but also to documenting it. However, he cautioned the former military Head of State to expect varied reactions to the book, including good, bad, and ugly ones.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan also praised Babangida for the launch of his memoir and stated that Nigeria’s history would be incomplete without the story of the former Head of State.
During the book’s review, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo quoted Babangida as saying that late Moshood Abiola, who contested the 1993 presidential election on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, won the election. However, Babangida described the annulment of the election as the most difficult decision of his life.
“There was no doubt in my mind; MKO Abiola won the election. He satisfied all the requirements,” Babangida was quoted as saying.
The former military leader noted that while the annulment of the election remained a defining moment in his career, he took solace in the fact that former President Muhammadu Buhari posthumously honoured Abiola with the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic title, a recognition reserved for Nigerian presidents.

According to the statement, the President approved Dr Saviour Enyiekere’s appointment as Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission for a five-year renewable term.
Until his appointment, Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, was the Deputy Chief of staff to the Senate President.
President Tinubu also approved the appointment of two commission members from each of the six geopolitical zones.
The 12 members are: Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi and Hon. Yusuf A. Yusuf Tabuka for North West, Aminu Ibrahim Malle and Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud for North East, Mark Hanmation Tersoo and Salihu Umar Agboola Balogun for North Central, Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga and Hon. Afeez Ipeza-Balogun for South West.
Others are Hon. Nnanna Uzor Kalu and Festus Ifesinachi Odii for South East, and Patrick Giwa and Mrs. Mary Ekpenyong for South-South.
The statement further added that each of the members of the commission shall hold office for a renewable period of five years.
“Like the chairperson, members of the Commission shall hold office for a renewable term of five years,” it stated.

The Nigerian Army has set up a General Court Martial for the trial of five officers and 20 soldiers for different offences in the jurisdiction of 82 Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu State.
Inaugurating the court martial, President of the General Court Martial (GCM), Brig.-Gen. Buhari Sadisu, said that the court martial was convened by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Maj.-Gen. Oluyemi Olatoye.
Sadisu said that it was pertinent to note that, “Court Martial is one of the instruments used in the Armed Forces to maintain discipline.”
He said, “In Court Martial, military personnel alleged to have committed offences known to laws applicable to them are tried and if found guilty, punished in accordance to the laws criminalising such offences.
“However, where the prosecution failed to establish the allegations against them, the Court will discharge and acquit the accused personnel.
“For the accused personnel present for today’s inauguration, let me assure you that this Court Martial will be guided throughout the trial by the principles of natural justice and fair hearing.
“It will also be guided by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and other extant laws and procedures related to your trial.”
The President said that the Court Martial would be free from any external influence and would afford the personnel accused adequate time and facility to defend themselves.
He noted that the court martial was fully aware of the cardinal principle of the criminal justice system that an accused person is presumed innocent until the contrary is proven.
“Under our criminal justice system, it is better for 99 guilty persons to be set free than for one innocent person to be convicted.
“Accordingly, I hereby assure you that the Court Martial will strive to do justice in your cases by ensuring that evidence presented before her are judiciously and fairly evaluated.
“This is in order to avoid a situation where an innocent person is made to suffer unjustly,” he said.
The Court Martial has the same power and concurrent mandate as the Federal and State High Courts as its decisions can only be challenged at the Court of Appeal.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan on Tuesday affirmed the selection and installation of Oba Ghandi Olaoye as the Soun of Ogbomoso.
Recall that Justice K. A. Adedokun of the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ogbomoso had, on Oct. 25, 2023, nullified the selection and installation of Olaoye as the Soun of Ogbomoso.
The lower court asserted that the procedure of Olaoye’s nomination was “irregular, null and void”.
It added that the process did not comply with the provisions of the Soun Chieftaincy Declaration of 1958.
Delivering judgment on the appeal filed by Olaoye, Justice Yargata Nimpar, who led a three-member panel of justices, resolved the appeal in favour of Olaoye.
Nimpar said that the lower court had no jurisdiction to entertain the case.
According to the judge, the respondents failed to comply with the administrative procedure of writing the government about their dissatisfaction with the selection before approaching the court.
Nimpar, therefore, set aside the lower court’s judgment and affirmed the selection and installation of Olaoye as the Soun of Ogbomoso.
Speaking with newsmen after the judgment, the respondents’ lead counsel, Mr Abiodun Ogunjumi, said his client was dissatisfied with the judgment of the Court of Appeal.
Ogunjumi said he was ready to file notice and grounds of the appeal to attack the judgment of the Court of Appeal at the Supreme Court.

Pan Niger Delta Forum leader, Edwin Clark, died on Monday at the age of 97.
A family representative, Prof. C. C. Clark, announced Clark’s death on Tuesday morning.
He was a Nigerian nationalist, elder statesman, lawyer and an influential political leader from the Niger Delta.

Over the years, he held several key government positions, including: Commissioner for Education (Mid-Western Region, 1968-1971)
Commissioner for Finance and Establishment (Bendel State, 1972-1975)
Federal Commissioner for Information under General Yakubu Gowon (1975)
As Commissioner for Education, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Mid-West Institute of Technology, which later became the University of Benin.
Clark was a powerful voice for the Niger Delta, advocating for better resource control; environmental protection; and economic development for the region.
He was a key figure in the Pan Niger Delta Forum and the Ijaw National Congress, consistently fighting for policies that favoured the region’s growth.
Believing in the power of education, he founded Edwin Clark University in Kiagbodo, Delta State, to nurture future generations.
His influence in Nigeria’s politics spanned decades and he remained a respected elder statesman until his death on February 17, 2025.

The African Union (AU) has endorsed Nigeria as the Digital Trade Champion for the continent under the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) Digital Trade protocol, following the impressive record of the Federal Government in promoting digital enterprise and innovation.
The 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government, which concluded on Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, recognised Nigeria's proactive role in advancing the implementation of the digital trade protocol adopted in February 2024.
The protocol features an agenda to develop eight annexes covering critical areas, including rules of origin, digital identities, cross-border data transfers, legitimate and legal public interest reasons for disclosing source code, online safety and security, emerging and advanced technologies, and financial technology.
In his annual report on the progress of the AfCFTA's digital trade protocol, former president of Niger Republic and AU AfCFTA champion Mahamadou Issoufou lauded Nigeria's leadership for convening the Digital Economy Roundtable in January.
He noted that the gathering was pivotal in driving the digital trade agenda forward.
''No organisation, region, or continent has negotiated or adopted such a comprehensive legal instrument on digital trade, positioning the African continent to benefit from the digital economy for innovation and job creation,'' former President Issoufou said.
The former Nigerien leader observed that young Africans are leaders in digital innovation, particularly in mobile banking and other digitally enabled services.
''The AfCFTA Protocol on Digital Trade will establish a conducive environment for these young people to fully participate in Africa's digital economy,'' he added.
Reflecting on the Digital Economy Roundtable in Abuja, Issoufou commended President Bola Tinubu and his administration for convening the event and inviting the AfCFTA Secretariat to participate.
''The Roundtable was attended by young pioneers in Fintech, mobile banking and other areas of the digital economy.
''It was evident from the discussions that young people are eager to take advantage of Africa's digital economy through the AfCFTA Protocol on Digital Trade,'' the former Niger president said in his progress report to the 38th Assembly.
On the significance of the AU endorsement of Nigeria, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, told the summit:
"Africa has demonstrated global leadership by pioneering the first-of-its-kind AfCFTA Protocol on Digital Trade—establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework.
"The Assembly of Heads of State and Government has officially designated Nigeria as AfCFTA Digital Trade Champion. The AfCFTA Digital Trade Protocol is a game changer in advancing Africa's economic development. It is set to create millions of jobs for Africa's growing, tech-savvy youth, contribute billions to the continent's GDP and attract substantial investments for public digital infrastructure across African nations."

It Is Worrisome That A US Congressman Has Spoken About It – Ndume Demands Probe Into USAID Funding Of Boko Haram

Former Senate Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, has urged the Federal Government and the National Assembly to investigate allegations by U.S. Congressman, Scott Perry that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been funding terrorist organisations, including Boko Haram.
Naija News reports that the American lawmaker, a Republican from Pennsylvania, made the claim last Thursday during the inaugural hearing of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency.
In a viral video, Perry alleged that USAID had been providing up to $697m annually to terrorist groups, including Boko Haram.
Reacting to the allegation during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday, Ndume lamented over the devastating impact of Boko Haram in the country.
He described the allegation as weighty and worrisome,” stressing the need for a thorough investigation.
“Boko Haram has ravaged not only the North-East but even Nigeria as a whole. You can remember how Boko Haram bombed the police headquarters and the UN office in Abuja. The casualties were enormous. But the security agencies have raised this issue indirectly several times. Even the Borno State government was wary of the operations of some NGOs,” Ndume stated.
He recalled a past security operation where an NGO was allegedly caught training individuals on how to use firearms.
“We have been wondering for years—aside from raids and kidnappings—where are these terrorists getting their funds? It’s worrisome. Now that a U.S. Congressman has openly spoken about it, we can’t dismiss it as just an allegation. It’s more than that. That’s why the Nigerian government and the National Assembly, especially, need to investigate and verify the veracity of such claims,” he added.
He further noted that 400,000 displaced persons from Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states are currently taking refuge in Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.
“When you look at these figures, it’s alarming. And when you analyze Boko Haram’s modus operandi, you begin to question whether they are receiving supplies from external sources,” he said.
The lawmaker revealed plans to raise a motion in the Senate on Tuesday to push for a formal investigation.
“This is a matter of urgent national importance. We need to set up a strong committee involving security agencies like the Office of the NSA, the DIA, and the DSS because this falls within their responsibilities. It’s not just about internal security,” he stated.

President Bola Tinubu says the African Union Peace and Security Council (AUPSC) should prioritise the establishment of a combined maritime task force to enhance security in the Gulf of Guinea.
Tinubu spoke on Sunday at the 38th ordinary session of the assembly of the AU heads of state and government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Represented by Yusuf Tuggar, minister of foreign affairs, Tinubu proposed Lagos, Nigeria’s economic nerve, as the security outfit’s headquarters.
“The time has come for the African Union Peace and Security Council to prioritise the creation of a combined maritime task force for the Gulf of Guinea,” a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to Tibubu on information and strategy, quoted the president as saying.
“I wish to announce that Nigeria would like to host the headquarters of the task force in Lagos.”
Tinubu’s recommendation of a maritime task force comes on the same day that Nigeria signed an agreement with the AU.
The statement said Nigeria agreed to provide strategic sea lift services for AU peace support operations, natural disaster support, humanitarian actions, and personnel movement.
Under the agreement, the Nigerian Navy will provide a vessel for the operations on a cost-recovery basis.
Badaru Abubakar, the minister of defence, signed the agreement on Nigeria’s behalf while Bankole Adeoye, AU commissioner for political affairs, peace, and security, signed for the union.
The statement noted that the AUPSC had previously held a high-level meeting.
Tinubu expressed satisfaction at the decision to upgrade the Nigerian National Counter-Terrorism Centre to a regional counter-terrorism centre, which was one of the outcomes of the meeting.
The president also highlighted the insecurity affecting Sahelian countries grappling with democratic transition.
He blamed the worsening situation on the instability in Libya and urged the assembly to back initiatives to restore law and order in the country.
“It would not be out of place to explore the possibility of extending the inherent benefits of UN Security Council resolution 2719 to support AU peace support operations,” the president said.
In doing so, Tinubu added that the AU must try to prevent the increasing incursion of extra-continental forces, including private military companies, into African security matters.
The absence of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally in Kafanchan, Kaduna South Senatorial District, raised eyebrows, fueling speculation about his political stance.
Once considered the political mentor of the current governor, Uba Sani, El-Rufai’s no-show added to the intrigue surrounding the event.
Despite being highly publicized, the rally reportedly welcomed over 22 notable defectors from opposition parties and witnessed a significant turnout.
However, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, who currently represents Kaduna Central in the 10th Senate, was absent and openly dismissed the gathering as a “rented crowd.”
According to him, the rally was merely a face-saving attempt by Governor Uba Sani to cover up the lack of genuine grassroots support.
Taking to Facebook on Saturday, Usman challenged the governor’s popularity, questioning why an election had not been conducted in the state to gauge actual support.
“APC is like Papalolo in Kaduna State. If you truly knew you had the support of your rented crowd, why didn’t you allow the conduct of election in at least one ward within the State?” he wrote.
He further pointed out that “even the governor could not cast his vote at his polling station during the time.”
